Waiākea had a mission and roots in Hilo. The story was already there. It just hadn't been told.
So we built it from the inside — the people who make the brand, and the town that makes it possible. Cast entirely from Hilo, shot with a kama'āina crew.
Alongside the brand film we produced a full suite of social assets for Waiākea's in-house ad team, plus creator content with brand ambassadors Kalei Mau and Nique Miller.
